Privacy policy

Effective from 18 October 2026

We value your privacy. This page explains in plain language what personal data Kvildy.com processes, why, for how long and what your rights are. We follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and Czech Act No. 110/2019 Coll.

1. Who processes the data

The data controller is the operator of Kvildy.com, the seller of the house with Kvildy Café in Kvilda (“we”).

2. What data we process

Enquiry form data – name, e-mail, phone (optional), preferred language, the option you are interested in and your message.

Technical data of the enquiry – IP address, browser identification, page address and time of sending. Used only to protect the form against spam and abuse.

Communication – if you e-mail or call us, we process the data you give us yourself.

We do not collect sensitive data and do not use automated decision-making or profiling.

3. Why and on what legal basis

Handling your enquiry and arranging a viewing – steps taken at your request prior to a possible purchase (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Protecting the website and form – our legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Analytics and marketing cookies – only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

4. How long we keep the data

Enquiry data is kept for the duration of the sale negotiations, at most 3 years from the last contact. If a purchase takes place, it is kept for the period required by law. You can ask us to delete it earlier at any time.

5. Who has access to the data

We do not sell your data or pass it on to third parties for marketing. Only these processors help us:

WEDOS Internet, a.s. (Czech Republic) – operation of the server running the website and enquiries.
Seznam.cz, a.s. (Czech Republic) – the mailbox receiving enquiry notifications and from which we reply.

If necessary for the purchase negotiations, we may share the data with your consent with the seller’s estate agent or legal representative.

6. Third-party services on the website

Mapbox maps (Mapbox, Inc., USA) – maps are loaded from Mapbox servers, which see your IP address and browser details. Maps only load once you scroll to them. Mapbox privacy policy
Google Fonts (Google) – the website fonts are loaded from Google servers, which see your IP address. Google privacy policy
Instagram – the website only contains a plain link; no data is sent to Instagram unless you click it.

7. Cookies

The website only uses necessary cookies and browser storage. We do not currently use any analytics or marketing tools; if we add them in the future, they will only run with your consent from the cookie banner.

You can change your choice at any time with the button below or the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Just write to info@kvildy.com. We will reply within one month at the latest.

If you believe we are not handling your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, uoou.gov.cz, or with the supervisory authority in your country.

9. Security and changes

The website runs exclusively over encrypted HTTPS, enquiries are stored on a server in the Czech Republic and only the seller can access them through a protected administration.
